- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup coconut oil (melted)
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup chocolate chips (dairy-free if desired)
Instructions

Prepare the Dough:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the almond flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Shape and Bake:
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Flatten each dough ball slightly with your fingers or the back of a spoon.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
