For the Batter:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
For the Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- 1 Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans.
- 2 In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, then stir in the buttermilk.
- 3 Gradually mix in the flour and baking soda until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- 4 Pour half of the batter evenly into the prepared loaf pans. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter. Swirl gently with a knife.
- 5 Pour the remaining batter on top and repeat the cinnamon-sugar sprinkling and swirling process.
- 6 Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
