Cookies:

Frosting:
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together baking soda, flour, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- To make the frosting, beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Gradually mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
