  • Base recipe:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Big Mac Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, shredded cheese, and diced pickles.
  3. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface. Add 2-3 tablespoons of the beef mixture to the center. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold in the sides, and roll tightly. Brush the edges with beaten egg to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 375°F (190°C). Fry the egg rolls in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. For the sauce, mix all the Big Mac Sauce ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
  6. Serve the egg rolls warm with the Big Mac Sauce for dipping.
