- 6 thick slices of brioche bread
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- Maple syrup, powdered sugar, and fresh berries for serving
Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt 1 tbsp of butter.
- Dip each brioche slice into the egg mixture, ensuring it is well coated but not soggy.
- Place the slices on the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
- Repeat with the remaining slices, adding more butter as needed.
- Serve warm with maple syrup, fresh berries, and a dusting of powdered sugar.
