- 1 ½ cups (180g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons (57g) unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- ¾ cup (95g) all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 2 tablespoons cold water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine cheese, butter, flour, salt, and paprika. Pulse until crumbly.
- Add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, pulsing until dough forms.
- Transfer dough onto a floured surface, roll it out to about ⅛ inch thickness.
- Cut into small squares using a knife or pizza cutter. Use a toothpick to poke a hole in each cracker.
- Transfer crackers to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes until crispy and lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before serving. Store in an airtight container.
