- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup dill pickle slices (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
- Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the beef mixture and stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
