- 1 pound large white mushrooms, stems removed
- 8 oz lump crab meat
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika (plus extra for garnish)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
- Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp paper towel and remove the stems. Arrange the mushroom caps on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, parsley, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- Fill each mushroom cap generously with the crab mixture. Sprinkle the tops with a pinch of paprika for color.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden and bubbly.
