  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet dry Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 lb angel hair pasta, cooked according to package directions
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the Italian dressing mix, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and cream cheese. Stir until everything is melted and smooth.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  5. Shred or slice the chicken, if desired, then serve over cooked angel hair pasta, spooning extra sauce on top.
