- 2 plain or cinnamon raisin bagels, halved
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- Maple syrup, powdered sugar, and fresh berries for serving
Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt 1 tbsp of butter.
- Dip each bagel half into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.
- Cook the bagel halves in the skillet for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and slightly crisp.
- Repeat with remaining bagels, adding more butter as needed.
- Serve warm with maple syrup, fresh berries, and a dusting of powdered sugar.
