  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)
  • 1 jar (24 oz) gluten-free marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, gluten-free breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, oregano, salt, pepper, and milk. Mix until well combined, but do not overmix.
  2. Using your hands or a small ice cream scoop, shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, pour the marinara sauce and bring it to a gentle simmer. Add the browned meatballs to the sauce. Cover and let simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are fully cooked.
