Description

Discover the ultimate recipe for graham cracker toffee! Sweet, crunchy, and buttery, this no-bake treat is perfect for any occasion. Learn how to customize it with fun toppings and make it your go-to dessert for holidays, parties, and more.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sleeve graham crackers (about 910 full sheets)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 10×15-inch baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil, and grease lightly.
  2. Arrange the graham crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet, covering the entire surface.
  3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together, stirring constantly until the mixture begins to boil. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until smooth and bubbly.
  4. Carefully pour the hot mixture over the graham crackers, spreading evenly with a spatula to cover them completely.
  5. Bake for 7-8 minutes or until the toffee layer is bubbling and golden brown.
  6. Remove the pan from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee. Let sit for 2 minutes to soften, then spread the melted chocolate evenly over the surface.
  7. If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the chocolate layer for added crunch.
  8. Allow the toffee to cool completely at room temperature, then transfer it to the refrigerator for 1 hour to set.
  9. Break the toffee into pieces and serve or store in an airtight container.
