- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Roll into 1-inch meatballs and place on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until fully cooked.
- In a small saucepan, whisk together honey, soy sauce, cornstarch, and water. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
- Toss baked meatballs in the sauce until fully coated. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, if desired.
