- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow bowl, whisk the eggs.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks.
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden and crispy.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
