- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, combine the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- Pour the chicken broth and heavy cream over the seasoned chicken.
- Drizzle the olive oil and add the butter on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Once done, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred with two forks.
- Stir the Parmesan cheese into the sauce left in the slow cooker and mix until well combined.
- Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir until the chicken is coated with the creamy sauce.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve warm.
