  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  3. Pour the chicken broth and heavy cream over the seasoned chicken.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil and add the butter on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  6. Once done, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred with two forks.
  7. Stir the Parmesan cheese into the sauce left in the slow cooker and mix until well combined.
  8. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir until the chicken is coated with the creamy sauce.
  9. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve warm.
