- 8 large russet potatoes, baked and cooled
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Peel the baked potatoes and mash them in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix in melted butter, sour cream, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Spread half of the potato mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Top with half of the shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Add the remaining potato mixture, then top with the rest of the cheese and bacon.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
